Roadtrip to North

As the tittle above says, we went on a roadtrip to Penang and Ipoh.. we as in myself, yenshan, YC, and praevin.

Started our day with dimsum breakfast on sunday morning in DU. i guess it was a pretty scary start as the bill for our breakfast amounted to RM44.4. nevertheless, we decided to carry on with our adventurous journey! reached penang in the afternoon and spend the whole day there till night!

Left penang bout 11pm and reached Ipoh at 1am. did stuffs there till late late night. Left from Ipoh bout 11 and reached KL at 1.30pm! Ended our roadtrip with lunch in Kayu in ss2!

That's bout it..lazy to blog on the details...im still tired due to excessive driving in the past 2 days! i think its 10hrs+ in total man! anyway, it was a nice holiday! just to go faraway from KL with a bunch of friends. feels like an adventure! but then again, most of the time we were just eating and eating and eating!! :-P

If not for him, we wudnt be able to finish all the food, especially the asam laksa! :-P

whenever a decision making is involved, ur brain and ur heart rush to assist you...problem arises when u decide whether to follow the brain's advice or the heart's advice...

at times, or rather, often times, their views clash. big time! just like politics.. government and opposition's view always clash! and when u finally made ur decision and it's not the right one, oh my...need i say more?

its funny...when you worked so hard for the past couple of weeks or so to achieve something, but when u finally achieved it, or u could sense that ur achieving it, suddenly u feel that its not what u actually wanted to achieve in the first place! i mean...it is wat u wanted in the first place but then again its not wat u really wanted deep inside... its wat ur brain asked u to do but its something ur heart protest! yupz, u've guessed it right! clashing views! hence, internal turmoil! illegal rally! wooh! -.-"

and wrong decisions... i call it stupidity, at its very best... absofuckinglutely stupid... ahh, wat a great sense of idioticness in me when it happens! pheewwweet!

there's ntg much to update bout me, really..apart from the fact that im super stunned and pissed at england, and more importantly, mclaren. such an ass. screw him man. he shud get shot. but then again, he got sacked less than 12 hrs after the game ended. at least they did something right.

after all the russia v israel hype... england screwed it up big time. big big time. too late to ap0logize now dude, u suck! i only watch major tournaments cuz of england..cant believe they're out now. so the impossible... no point d euro08...now gotta wait for WC 10.. damn. still shocked.

besides football... my modem's been a bitch to me... i cudnt go online since like duno when until a few days back.. which explains dik, why i cudnt go online when u asked me to the other day. even now, i gotta use the LAN cable which connects to the phone line which is situated at an awkward place in my room, which means... its so crappy to go online these days. my laptop's not placed properly, sitting position's not right.. its jus not nice to be online and carry on with my usual online activities :-(

talking bout that, last saturday was a great day! well simply becuz its dik's bday. since now oni i can use internet, albeit uncomfortably, well, happy birthday! a year older now, a year wiser! hope u learn ups n downs of life n use it to ur advantage. take care.

i wasnt feeling good ystrd...was a total crap day... then when i came back home in the evening and read newspaper... i saw this horoscope article on aquarians for the day... im copying here word for word..no alteration...

girls are amazing. i dont know how a girl can like a guy so much at one point of time... and then in a blink of an eye, totally devote herself to another person...

for example, a girl likes this guy so much and was so sad she's leaving him to study overseas and she cried n stuffs... and once she's there..a while later, she's totally into another guy.. and hoping and praying and expecting that she'll be with him.... amazing... girls.. and very difficult to understand as well...

on a brighter note,

it was mother's day. so, Happy Mother's Day to my mom! and all other moms! i wont dwell on things like how i want her again in my next life or if i get another chance i want her to be my mom again (things i read in other ppl's blog... hehe). All i wanna say is, realistically, i want my future wife to have similar characteristics of my mom... treat me like how my mom treats my dad and treat my kids like how my mom treats me!!! nuff said.

and, ManUtd won the league..for the 1st time in 4 years!!! yay. congrats to all loyal MU fans.

and Arsene Wenger looks like Mr Bean. dun u guys think so?

at the peak of my depression last year, i was taking 3 pills a day...

at the end of last year, it was reduced to 1 pill a day...

at the start of this year, the need for my pills were significantly reduced to 1 every three days....

now, for the first time ever, i've lasted 8 days without a pill... owh man, im feeling better...

I hope by June, i dont need them anymore! then i can go Aussieland freely without any worries and my dad will happily release me from his custody :-))))))))))))))

ok i need my medications now. Hopefully the next time i take them is at least the next 10days.

weeee!!! im back! after almost 3 weeks and about 6 games out due to injury, im back playing football again today!! weee!!!!

and wat's best, we kept a clean sheet today!!! told ya prav there's a diff with me in the team wahahahaha...

fitness level was low and reactions and control were pretty slow tho.. i gotta start playing often again to go back to optimum level!!! but wat matters is, im back playing again!! WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

thing's been fine for me, apart from that fucking virus that fucking hit my laptop making me fucking stressed and worried. damn absofuckinglutely fucked when i realise it was a virus.

i shudnt curse in vulgar words man.. its not in me! but really, im jus so damn stressed up n worried when the virus hit my laptop. i had to release it all man!

and so i am..20 this year... 20 last month...

19 was a year full of emotional roller coaster ride for me... from enjoying the best birthday in my life to experiencing the worst possible year i cud ever have, i've gone thru almost every single feelings a human being can possible have...

so many things happened when i was 19... things worth remembering... things better off forgetting...

had my first kiss, break up, bad exams results, depression for most part of the year, anxiety everytime i enter uni, personal health problem, family health, terrible work place stress n unwanted events towards the end of the year, and many many more.. u name it, i have it man...

and so i am.. 20 this year..20 last month.. brand new age to represent brand new start to a brand new year for me...

somehow, i've got hope that this year wont be as cruel to me as it was last year... so far, it's been a pretty ok start... i pray...and i pray.. that it'll go on as it is now...

everything's been ok.. i'm now on talking terms with a person i care alot.. everything's forgotten, at least i hope so...we can finally have a brand new start...

i've found and got closer to a few great great friends in uni... ee va to name one gem i found.. and william is another great buddy i've been close to this sem... thank you guys.. friendship never dies, never will...

thank you everyone, every single of u guys, who's directly, or indirectly involved in shaping my 2006. and thank you MLSH, specially to you...tho good or bad, 2006 is a year i went thru and it'll be a part of me forever...

We had a birthday gathering for me and muizz on Friday,9th in Friendster Cafe, Mutiara Damansara... and the response was so overwhelming!!! we thot prolly oni bout 20+ will make it, but the turn out was close to 40!!!! yay so happy!!

ohk thurs n fri was 2 damn tiring dAYs... slept late thurs night cuz i sooo cudnt sleep.. slept bout 2am.. and i woke up at 5am on friday morning cuz i sooo cudnt sleep...

friday was hell of a tiring day man...

started wif law exam at 8.30am... which was so (insert own choice of profanity) hard. so screwed man.... got such a great feeling that i gonna fail this bloody unit...

law finished 12 +... then i went to pyramid for lunch n jln jln... reached home at 4.55pm

changed n left home for futsal at 5pm...

came back from futsal at 8+pm... mandi mandi pakai baju... left to Curve to watch movie at 8.50pm..

after movie, went laundry bar n stayed there till late.. reached home at 1.30am!! omgg..so happening!!! hahaha... but such a tiring day man...

wanna thank everyone who wished me on diwali day... thx! n alot of unexpected ppl wished me, at 12am summore.. which was great!! ppl like erica and pris... really happy!! thx alot guys!!!

While in line at the bank one afternoon, mytoddler decided to release some pent-up energy and started to run amuck. This happened at a major Australian University,during a biology lecture. this is so sad... the other day me and xuelieh on the way to futsal..then we saw this crime scene thingy.. u know..alot of police..those yellow *do not cross this line* thingy... then got big crowd all looking so shocked n stuffs.. it was near this construction area la..

woke up at 7am, took my bath,wore my contacts....

lecture at 8am...after lecture went breakfast...after that went library do some research. all alone. so pissing, asked someone to help me do research but end up duno do wat ish. end up all do myself. angry. very. k la after that i lazy n tired n sleepy d so i drove back home... reached home bout 2pm...

realised i can't sleep also. so much things to do! came back home straight away took my lunch n took my bath and wrap the gifts for farewell and write messages in farewell cards and got ready for farewell party... 5am. time to go farewell! left home at 5.10pm... went to Jesze's farewell and stayed there up to 8.30pm+...

from there, shoot straight to Fiza's farewell... and stayed there till 10.45pm... after that, drove to Asia Cafe to meet up wif some frens there... n stayed there till 1am...

came back home....took my bath, took off my contacts and at that time was about 1.40am. phew. finallyyy... contacts damn kering already that time, eyes all damn sakit. yaayyy time to sleep after such a tiring day!!!!!

but nooo..hang on!! that's not itt.... i was about to sleep...sleep sleep..zzz...then suddenly lichen called!! tat was about 2am... was so sleepy to answer actually,but answered anyway...so talked talked for an hour... in the end, i slept at 3am+...

phew.finally.got to sleep after such an exhausting day.

Neways, the movie was nice, very nice! u guys shud go watch! again! after the movie, we had plans to go makan together. sorta mini 5adil gathering. grace n chinyeow were present, along with jimmy. but one of our friends, well, my closest friend, who promised to meet us up after his movie managed to.... aiya i lazy talk bout this. cut the topic off. The point is that, none of us went makan after that and all went back home.

so i watched ManUtd's first pre season friendly the other day... against this team called ORLANDO PIRATES.... interesting... very interesting....

my uni's starting this week! yippee!!! back to activities! my brain like kaku already not doing any work for the past one month... the only activitiy it has been doing is to critically think n guess n figure out which team's gonna win which match during world cup n which player's MU gonna buy in this transfer season. say YES to uni life! say NO to assignments :-(

i injured my hamstring..how cool..farrkk!!! barely 2mins after start playing on thursday n i bloody got injured.... now i can't walk without any pain for the next few days...well, i hope its for the next few days...hamstring injuries can stretch for weeks,though i doubt mine is that bad... a few days of rest should be alright before i get up n running again!!!

yesterday we had a mini gathering among out frens... me, yenshan, pris, muizz, euric , xue lieh, xue fang, melstot, aric, fiza, and yassir. a few couldnt make it. it was fun yesterday we really had great time. right guys?

i'm glad tat quite alot made it. 11 ppl altogether, and that's not bad at all. we went makan makan in TGIF, n chit chatted .... yassir was a fun character... he's actually a nice guy... first time ppl like me n euric who never had the chance to see his other side (cuz we were prefects) finally get to see the funny side of him.

finally get to see pris. she seems ok. not underweight not overweight. just... sweet. yenshan's luckily, i guess. when are we gonna play badminton pris?

The education system is all bout discrimating students to HD, D , C, P, and F... but assignments don't do that. Undeserving students who gets high marks in assignments, u guys shud always be thankful, jus like i always am. how did i get a B16 for spec maths!!?!? come on man, i'm not even a C12 in my spec maths. the HIGHEST i could have got for my spec maths without the help of my assignments(especially Directed Investigaion) is C11. Guaranteed. Similarly, i also feel for those students who are quite good in certain subjects but due to some mistakes done in assignments, u guys get low assignments marks which in turn jeopardizes the final marks. i've also got experience in this. my accounts assigment results in uni is like totally crap. super saddening cuz i know my knowledge in accounts is way above the kind of marks i got. totally underserving. surely gonna have an effect on my finals results after examinations.

secondly, i believe,giving exam are better than assignments. at least we'll be prepared by the time we do our finals. for example, my Monash uni this year is all bout assignments n we never had a single exam, thus i never how questions will be like,how sitting in the exam hall doin exams will be like n stuffs. at least, at leasttttt, one exam before the finals would do. jus to let us try out the exam feeling before we do the real stuff. u guys in ANU, thank God u guys got small small exams
before the real finals.

finally, when an assignment is given, for example for management, it only covers a SMALLLL subtopic in the book. sorta subtopic of a subtopic of a subtopic's topic! its like ONE PAGE OR TWO PAGE out of the 800 PAGES in the book. its so not sufficient. at least, if it covers like 3 out of the 20 topics in the book, then doing the assignment would be useful as we wud be learning the 3 topics i depth while completing our topics. but for our management, we're covering 1 page in depth! like one freaking page!

on a lighter note (not so light for me) , my car sorta broke down yesterday. battery mati. took 1 hour n 30 mins to get all done. damn it. sorry muizz for the delay i know u had to rush. thanks alot joachim for all ur help.

argentina is DAMN good. DAMN DAMN good. If there's an award for Joga Bonita games, it shud go to them. Even brazil can lose man. brazil has fantastic indivual players, but they can't perform as a unit and thats becuz everybody wants to dribble past players n display their skills. selfishness gets into way here. but argentina, they perform fantastically as a unit and also individually. if u see their string of passes, u'll be awed n amazed to the MAX man! their individual goals n their team goals are brilliant. In fact, their fantastic 2nd team goal scored by cambiasso is one of the best goals ever scored in World Cup.

neways, i'm currently having finals. shyt exams. stats was ok. accounts was a killer for mcq! i could like answer 7 out of 15 questions only.

mgmt dunit to talk la. i'm praying to pass on the dot. din even complete my paper. n i could do 1 of the 4 essays only. 4 essays choose 2. but 3 others i din study aihzz... i took a big gamble by choosing a few topics to study... actually VERY few topics to study... 7 topics out of the 19 in the text book!!! risky gamble... n aihyzz.. couldnt do the essay...

on a brighter note, the greatest sporting event in the world is back again after four years! n the opening ceremony is in another 2.5 hours!!! yay! i'll be occupied for the whole month man. i'm hoping for England to win. Rooney's back of course! but he's not match fit and prolly wun be playing until the knockout stages,if England progress la.... most probably Brazil gonna win it again. they're jus too good. one level ahead of all the teams. Brazil's individual players are better than any other players in the World Cup,and their only problem is group cohesiveness. If they can perform as a unit, then definitely the Cup's theirs again.

yippeee!!!! finally handed in mgmt assignment! lost some marks as i forgotten to include the assignment's assesment guide whatsoever shyt along....but,wat the heck dun care man. past is past. future!!! biz stats!!! due comin monday!! hehe... did bout 70% already. now left the theory part. went to watch Inside Man wif grace n joachim n mel yesterday, to reward ourselves after handing in mgmt assignment. fantastic movie!!!!! fantastic fanstastic!!! i think one of the best movie's i've watched this year. reli a thinkin man's movie. no not like Syrianna guys... this wan dunit to think so much. u see, n then do some thinkin, n swoossh, u get the whole idea on wat's happenin in the end. n when u connect everything, it blends so well, u'll be so thrilled tat u've jus watched an amazing movie. haha. so sad dun understand wat's going on. all those who dun appreciate all this actionless/talkin talkin kind of movie. superb plot. superb editing. good acting. very good directing. i give it 9 out of 10 man!!!!

life's so unorganized for me at the moment...everything's going bizarre n haywire....so many assignment n i've like started NONE... so many tutorials... so many things to catch up...but nothing seems to go my way.... it's like i can't even access to my MUSO webpage most of the time which means i can't even do my assignments or print out any lecture notes or additional learning materials....n when i could do suddenly access to it, there's some shyt pop out tat monash will be upgrading their webpage so the websites n library access will be down from today till sunday....wtf!!!!!!!!

not tat i am an organized person la...i never was... but thx to some influence around me,i'm starting to feel the need for getting organised...i'm starting to get more organized n this makes me happy. trust me, things work smoothly when u'r organised n u'r on track n not lost... but at the moment, i jus cant sort out everything... aikzzz....

so yesterday was orientation bash....damn fun!!!!!!! why? cuz it was in sunway lagoon n we've got entrance for ALL PARK for free!!!!!! inclusive of lunch of cuz!!!!it was so cool...we had activities till lunch...after which we can go n enjoy ourselves in sunway lagoon! was in lagoon wif frens till 6pm..then few of us went to pyramid for dinner before heading back home.....
